About the site

Hello and welcome to Paris Post. This blog is dedicated to some of the best and most bizarre about Paris, as well as those little anecdotes that you can only experience in the City of Lights. On the home page, you can find a few of my latest adventures as well as advice if you’re planning a trip there. On the “à Paris” page, you’ll find a few of my favorite spots around town. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to send me a comment, and I’ll do my best to help you out!

About the author

I’m Kate Darnell, a freelance journalist who graduated from the University of Missouri. I’ve come to Paris many times and am now here soaking up the culture and working a few odd jobs. If you’d like to learn more about my journalistic career, click here. I live in the northeast corner of Paris in a small suburb called Pantin. I’ve been to Paris four separate times, as student, stagiaire (intern), and tourist and spent more than a year here total. I’ve also studied French language, literature and culture for nine years leading up to this. Now it’s time to see if that’s been enough!
